My Minnie/Mickey Mouse loving little niece just turned 2.
She celebrated with an Oh TWO-dles party!
Only for B would I hand cut out 20 Mickey and Minnie faces (....I was too cheap to buy each cutter for $8.00 a piece)
I drew out their faces on some sketch paper, laminated the paper, and used that on top of my chilled dough to cut out the shape of their faces.
I do that a lot when it is a shape I don't have or one that I want use often, like these.
Last year she hated her smash cake. I'm talking, wouldn't even look at it. So this year, I thought I would win her over with 1. she loves cookies and 2. she loves Minnie and Mickey!!
Here's how they turned out....
Started with my Sketches
( I also cut the large Minnie shape by hand, for my topper)
My sister wanted her to have a cake as well, so we took the easy route and ordered a plain iced cake from Sam's Club.
I just added some pink fondant dots and a cute little cookie cake topper!!!
I do Love how these all turned out!
All the blood, sweat, and tears was worth it.
She loved them and that was all I cared about!!!
