A few things you may need to know before ordering:
- Please know that cookie decorating is a fun little hobby that I have picked up over the years. I am by no means a professional. Just a mom with the love of making decorated cookies. Cookie decorating is not my full-time job. So please understand if I am unavailable at times. My full-time job is being a mom. :)
- Cookies are $3.00 each with a minimum of 2 dozen to order!
- Your cookies will be made with all fresh ingredients. All Real butter. I do NOT use almond flavoring in my cookies, but if you would like to request that, please let me know
- If there is a gluten allergy or nut allergy, please know that my kitchen is not a gluten or nut free area.
- Cookies are iced with a Royal icing. This type of Icing does set up to a firmer stage than a normal buttercream. This process allows the designs of the cookie to stay firm and not mess up if stacked.
- Cookies should NOT be placed in a refrigerator. It will make the cookies sweat and the moisture will ruin the icing!!!!!
- I follow the Mississippi Cottage Laws for baking out of my home. My kitchen is cleaned before and after your cookies are made. I keep your cookies in a safe place away from our day to day living area.
- Cookies are individually packaged to help keep as fresh as possible.
- Decorated Cookies can be kept in a closed container for up to 2 weeks to allow for the freshest taste (in case all of your cookies are not eaten at your event, or you are just not ready to throw that last cookie out).
- With my cookies, the process can take anywhere from 3-4 days. This includes making the dough, baking, and allowing the cookies to rest after being baked. Cookies that have a lot of details or layering can take up to two days to ice to allow the details to set up before starting on a next layer.
- Payment is due a week prior to your event!
- Two weeks prior, I will touch base with you to finalize details!
